We are currently looking for both Experienced Automotive Technicians and Entry Level Technicians to join our team.
Position Description:Â The Automobile Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing vehicles. She/he provides mechanical support for the automobile dealership. Requires proficient use of tools, such as computerized diagnostic tools and power tools (pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding torches, jacks, and hoists). Also must be capable of working closely with the manufacturer.
Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs
- Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
- CERTIFICATIONSÂ
- Strong teamwork skills
- Valid in-state driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Clean driving record
- Previous Dealership experience is not required.
- Recent Automotive Program graduates are encouraged to apply.
