Performance
As
standard, the Subaru Forester Wilderness features a 2.5-liter Subaru Boxer
engine that delivers 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent
to all four wheels with symmetrical all-wheel drive and a CVT transmission. You
can also tow upwards of 3,000 pounds of cargo on the road. Further, the
Forester Wilderness offers you 9.2 inches of ground clearance as well as a
front skid plate to protect the underside from rocks and other
debris.
Additionally,
the new Forester Wilderness features Yokohama GEOLANDAR® all-terrain tires to
traverse the most rugged terrain easily. You can also change the driving
behavior depending on the road surface through enhanced Dual-Function X-MODE®.
Design
Features
The
exterior of the Subaru Forester Wilderness is made for toughness and
attitude. The exterior features matte black-finish wheels with protective
exterior cladding around them to protect from whatever the trail throws at it.
The blacked-out trim with anodized copper finish accents delivers a sleek yet
aggressive aesthetic. Moreover, the exterior offers reinforced roof rails to
carry more weight and an anti-glare matte-black hood finish to reduce sun glare
while driving on the trail.
The
interior offers high-quality textured StarTex® upholstery that can stand up to
nature and is easy to clean from a weekend away, courtesy of its
water-resistant material. At the back, you can use the LED cargo light to find
what material and gear you need at night. With the 60/40 split-folding rear
seats, you can take advantage of the 69.1 cubic feet of cargo space.
Technology
With
technology, the Subaru Forester Wilderness keeps you connected to your
favorite apps while on the move with standard Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™
integration. You can access both connectivity options through the 8.0-inch
touchscreen with available built-in voice-activated navigation through
TomTom®.
Along with
the connectivity features, the 2024 Subaru Forester Wilderness features the
DriverFocus® Distraction Mitigation System. The intuitive systems will send a
warning to you if it detects you are distracted or drowsy while driving near
our Subaru dealership serving Hanover, NH.
