This base engine works with a continuously variable transmission while making all-wheel drive standard. Additional power can be had by opting for the Touring XT trim, which comes with a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. This engine also works with a continuously variable transmission and includes all-wheel drive.
Technology
The Subaru Legacy leaves little to be desired in the technology realm thanks to a robust set of standard features. The Base trim of the Subaru Legacy offers up USB ports, satellite radio, dual 7-inch touchscreen displays, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and a 4-speaker audio system. The Premium trim takes things a bit further, offering Hanover, NH drivers an 11.6-inch touchscreen display along with a 6-speaker audio system and dual USB ports. The Limited trim ups the tech offers by replacing the 6-speaker audio system with a 12-speaker audio system. The Limited trim also makes a navigation system an optional upgrade.
